Dumbass did it again.
I'm with ya there, rube, but I have another 15 pounds on ya, so that would give me another buffer beer.
7 beers are just warming up, especially with girlie beers like Coors Light or Bud.
Seeing that you're in Texas, I assume they were manly beers such as Shiner Bock or Negra Modelo. (Man I'd love a Shiner Bock right now.) 5 or 6 of those count as much as 8 girlie beers. (and I don't mean alcohol content, just non-girlieness)

In Texas I assumed he was drinking Lone Star Long Necks, and listening to Cooder Brown.
When I get stuck like that I keep it in low, lock the diffs shift into 3rd or 4th and just spin the tires till it floats out. I have clay mud/muck where I wheel and that is the only thing that works.
Ha..you call a state troopers "Statey"... I heard the same bit when I was watching "The Departed" last night, then again you are in MA so what the hell. Here in the south, we call'em redneck cops or just pigs. If you have all your teeth, well kept hair and don't smell like a dirty hippie (pot) than you are safe for the most part. Plus they all love jeeps, drink too much and go hunting...so its half understood if you've had a few too many and get stuck.
I'm awful disappointed in a Rubi getting stuck in that.
My lowly X4D and its puny factory Goodyears managed across a field during deer season after days of rain after it was freshly plowed. (multiple trips across the field, with stops to pick up my dad and move a ladder stand)
There was mud everywhere (on the vehicle, that is) and I let the rain wash most of it off.
Of course, there are varying degrees of muck and pictures don't always do them justice. The closest I've ever been to stuck was in my CJ. There were 4 inches of slime on hardpan. It was like ice and glue.

And this was after the 7 beers
