Ah, Boston parking... I went to Boston U from '87-'91 and can tell you some stories of disrespect. They booted one car late Friday before the Christmas holiday for a single delinquent ticket - no way to get the car back for 4 days and then added a second fine because it had been four days.

Another car on a non-snow emergency street had the mirror plowed off once and the rear quarter smashed in by ice later the same year. Used to drive somewhere and come back on a Fenway game day and have to park 4 T stops away and move the car back to the permit spot later. No wonder I never became part of Red Sox nation...
