Found a great sale on a 4" lift!
Well, I broke down and decided to go with Zone Offroad's 4" lift for the 4door. If you look on pg 92 of the April issue of JP magazine, there's a sale going on and i was able to get the lift for $459.95 instead of the regular $575.99! It comes with the shocks and adjustable trackbar so i'm pretty happy! It should be coming in next Monday so we'll see when i can get it on!

i realize that a lot of people are drawn to how cheap this kit is but it really is because it doesn't even come with the minimum amount of components that a 4" lift should come with. please do yourself a favor and be sure to pick up the other items mentioned as they will help your ON ROAD ride and handling to be better.
Thanks for the info, my last wrangler was a YJ so I'm still getting used to everything involved with this coil spring suspension. I didnt think of the dropped pitman arm or trackbar bracket, what brand, etc. would you guys recommend?
regarding dropped pitman arms, they are all made by the same manufacturer so it really doesn't matter who's you get but you WILL need to make sure and run it in conjunction to a track bar relocation bracket. i am running a full traction drop bracket and it is a direct bolt on application. currie make a very nice bracket as well that attaches to the axle mount but it will require welding. teraflex makes a great bracket as well with a brace but it requires welding as well.
the other thing that i would highly recommend is the adjustable front lower control arms. the kit you got comes with cam bolts but these are a terrible solution for adjusting your caster. and again, if you have a 2-door, you really do need to get a set of adjustable rear upper control arms as at 4" of lift, your factory drive shaft will go out sooner than later and will need to be replaced with a double cardin u-joint style shaft. also, i know your kit comes with brake line extension brackets but at 4" of lift, you really should be looking at a set of extended brakelines instead.
Would this work for the trackbar bracket? looks like its a bolt-on too!
