Thanks for all the tips. I guess I will my BFG mud terrains siped. What are you all using for rust protection?

The best rust protection is a frequent hosing of the undercarriage and body pan. Some car wash facilities offer this. Other wise, wait for a day above freezing and connect your garden hose.

Lucky me we have no real winter as a Lot of folks know it. We do get a snow a time or two, but it's here today and gone tomorrow. I just had to say that.

For my winter maintenance, I usually check the washer fluid level to make sure I have enough to get the winter bugs off.....

Sorry, I just had to do that....

Siping a tire is cutting slits through the tread blocks.

It doesnt really help in snow but big time on icy roads,, only decreases tire life a little.. if any,, the worst is if you end up chunking them when playing in the rocks.. I've siped GY MTR's and then they stuck like glue on slick roads.. well when compaired to the non-siped mtr's..

I took my softop and doors off, gonna run it that way till we get a cold day, our winter is usually a few days in the 30's then back up to 80.
