Haven't had the doors off the JK yet, but was never into it on my TJ.

My heel fits right in the curve of the side step.

Arrow walking on the wild side

Looks fun, but I would be afraid of getting clobbered by a branch or something
I'll stick to just the pegs on my motorcycle

Just took the doors off my TJ for the first time and have now experienced the joys of driving with my foot out the side (flip flops preferred) and my left hand holding onto the top of the driver side roll bar.

Drove the TJ to my basketball game last night...nothing like leaving the gym sweating like a pig and to have an open Jeep waiting for you to cool you off on the ride home Does not get much better than that.

Default I love the draft

I'm fond of wearing shorts and getting a nice breeze . Haven't tried wearing a kilt yet but I think that might be in bad taste

They come with small plastic guards to protect your paint. I went one step further and super/gorilla glued some foam padding (lawnmower handle stuff) on to both the vertical and horizontal sides to protect the "outside" and the hinge metal
