Default Hard Top Idea

Hey all, I was putting my hard top on for the upcoming cold season today, and I got to thinking. The new hard tops have the freedom top right....which is a pretty fancy idea. Its convinent if you want a nice little breeze, and it looks pretty slick. So why not make the whole top modular like that? Like two pieces up front how the freedom top is, then two more in the back for the rear seats, and maybe even something for the sides too. Not only would you have more options to work with, it would be a hell of alot easier to take on and off your hard top! So what do you guys think?
And if this has already been thought of and discussed...feel free to tell me to shut up!

I think that would be an interesting idea. Maybe like....7 pieces...front freedom, rear freedom, then three pieces for the rest. It would be easier for storage.

I think bestop has one with a panel over each seat, then the rear section with a bar to the front. 5 separate pieces.

Some of the miltary JKs have cool canvas sides on the back.

I always thought it was be really cool if the back glass above the tailgate was easily removable in addition to opening the way it does.

yeah, 7 pieces is what i was thinking. it would be pretty easy to toss in the shed for the season and even leave at the camp site while you are out for the day! And I am going to have to look into the best top thing. if someone has something similar in production that would be awesome! too bad i wasnt rich and could just build it myself eh!

That idea can't be any good because Chrysler hasn't thought of it yet.

I always thought it would be great if someone could design a collapsible hard top that could be stored in the Jeep.
