Hard Top Idea
Hey all, I was putting my hard top on for the upcoming cold season today, and I got to thinking. The new hard tops have the freedom top right....which is a pretty fancy idea. Its convinent if you want a nice little breeze, and it looks pretty slick. So why not make the whole top modular like that? Like two pieces up front how the freedom top is, then two more in the back for the rear seats, and maybe even something for the sides too. Not only would you have more options to work with, it would be a hell of alot easier to take on and off your hard top! So what do you guys think?
And if this has already been thought of and discussed...feel free to tell me to shut up!

When the first info and pics started leaking on the JK this is what I hoped they were doing in the first place, making the entire top modular, so I like the concept. The execution would probably be a challenge.
Where can you buy one of these? I want to put one of those tops that make it a single cab truck on it. I cant remember the name of the company that makes them. I want one a Rubi.
There used to be one for the TJ. I remember seeing it back in the late 90s. It allowed the "sail panels" and back to be removed. I can't find it anymore, so I guess it wasn't the greatest quality. It was also like $3K back then too. But it looked nice.
