Hate thieves ! ! !
I had my Jeep broken into last year...last nigh I was parked in the same spot (visiting in laws) and heard my alarm going off at 4am...Grabbed my glock, flashlight and handcuffs ready to get to work and realized the wind blowing an overhead tree branch tripped my motion sensor...
It was a good test run, im ready for those fuckers if they decide to come back..,.
I got lucky the first time since they unzipped the window rather than cut it,..but I hate being the victim...

Sucks to hear they cut the soft top. 3 weeks ago someone went into my truck but lucky for me they unzipped the window and jumped in. Guessing the guy that broke into my jeep was a jeep owner?
I also recommend not locking anything as I keep everything unlocked so they didn't damage my glove box but the car beside me got broken window and crowbar to his glove box to get it open which destroyed his dash.

GPS and other valuables go in my tuffy under seat concealed carry draw...glove box/console stays open with nothing valuable inside.
If they even find the tuffy draw they will NOT get it open
I had a 98 TJ with half doors and left it unlocked all the time... no problems. I have a 2011 Rubicon with full doors and lock it when I am at shopping areas. This prevents the 'opportunists' from simply opening my doors and busting up my console and dashboard. When I stay at places overnight I take everything out and leave it unlocked hopefully to prevent someone from damaging the top.
As previously stated, if I catch you, you will be in for a bad day. Conceal and Carry is legal in my state and let's just say I take advantage of it!

In Montreal, and in many other cities in Quebec, there are policemen walking and checking if the doors of the cars are locked. If it's not locked, you have a ticket.
In 2008, I parked my doorless Jeep in Outremont (city on the Island of Montreal) And, the police gave me a ticket because my doors was unlocked !!!
The police told me that I can drive my Jeep doorless, but if I park my Jeep, I have to lock the doors
