Never expect a fair deal when trading in a car/truck. The dealer has to make money on the trade in and the new vehicle. It's how he stays in business.

I think you are missing the point.
Go to the Jeep Dealership and tell them you want to sell the Jeep outright and not buy another Jeep then see how much they will give you for your Jeep.
