Default How to clean the fenders?!

So I upgraded from a Tank to the 13 wrangler. I had a 93'camry that was mostly metal. The fenders on the 13 unlimited seem to get slightly stained by EVERYTHING. I can take it to the car wash and hand scrub the hell out of it all so the glass, body, and even wheels look pristine.... But not the black plastic fenders and bumpers. I plan on upgrading the bumpers at some point so it's not a terrible big deal here, but as fas as my fenders..... How does one fix this? I didn't want to get into harsh chemicals but even scrubbing with detail soap won't clean em up. Any one have any idea how to clean this dirty girl up?

There is a thread that talks about keeping the fenders black. There are several options. I've sprayed mine with tire foam cleaner an it works ok. Some have used other sealers/ protectants and even peanut butter.

It sounds like you should have gotten the Sahara or rubi with matching painted fenders.

Here's the thread.

I recommend "Detail Doctor". It works well, and lasts.

Stay away from getting wax on the plastics. It will cause premature fading.
I used some back to black plastic when I did detailing. Stuff worked the balls

I use back to black. Works great. Just don't wait to long between applications.

I pressure was the hell put of mine, then I put bmw vinyl care spray that I stole off my dad (mini is his commuter) and te stuff works amazing! Even if you aren't fortunate enough to steal it I think it's less than 15/ bottle and doesn't take much
