How could we improve?
I second this - random feature - now!! I don't think I've ever seen a CD player without random play.
Also - please make yellow an option.
your crazy,... its faster than our Police Cruisers...it has plenty of power.
Slightly bit more power.
I would have made the Freedom top a two piece....Like a targa top. That would probably eliminate most of the leak problems.
Other than the above mentioned I'm pretty happy.
The single CD player has a random function. It is on the right of the CD slot, opposite of the eject button. The 6 disc one doesnt have this? It looks in the brochure like there is a button there...?
Things i would like to see addressed:
- Relocate the passenger side front seat belt lower mount point so it doesnt choke or trip you gaining entry to the rear seat. (Or replace this engineering dysfunction with something more friendly to a human being)
- Use interior plastic with a hardness somewhat greater than warm silly putty.
- etc.

I'll admit that I have no first hand knowledge of this (I have a JK on order with the 6-disc as an option), but I have read 3 or 4 accounts of people that have the 6-disc that say that there is no random play (even for a single disc). If anyone could prove me wrong I will be very relieved (I have even been thinking of deleting this from the option list because of the lack of this feature - I can do this because I'm still in BG  ).
The JK NEEDS a 5.7L Hemi. I would pay whatever it took, within reason, if a Hemi were an option. This new JK is much bigger than the older TJ, though not THAT much heavier.

Love to see...
1. Power Side Mirrors
2. Express "UP" feature on the front windows. If they can give you express down why not up? It should be the same concept.
3. Passenger side footwell light
4. Detachable engine light to use on all areas of the engine
5. Rear-view Mirror with Map lights. If no map light then put a "press-on" light (like on the rear cross bar) on the main cross bar so you don't have to light up the entire vehicle to look at something.
6. A little more hand space to use the window wiper switch (it's a little cramped between the wiper arm and the dash)
7. Have the fan/heat switch area of the front console recessed a couple more inches. It's very tight when you have to change the heat/fan setting when in 1st, 3rd or 5th gear.
8. Seat Mounted side impact airbags should be standard but you should either have a switch to turn them off when offroading or make the option choice to NOT to have them installed.
9. Diesel engine option.
10. YES Essentials fabric used to cover the Cargo area instead of carpet.
Picky things but they would make a great vehicle even better.

Love to see,.......
They continue to build better Jeeps and build better Jeeps and build better Jeeps....and they are. They DID!
There is know way I could nit pick any little thing that is wrong or need changed with this JK. I bought this Jeep because I think they hit a very big home run, especially in my eye's, and I feel they'll sell so many they'll break projected sales in a very big way, even with some very minor thing's that could be changed., it just don't matter. When you have a passion for a certain vehicle (4 DR JK) you just don't notices these mediocore little thing's, I over look all that with so many positive's, you get in it and you drive it daily with a very big smile on your face. Bingo

Overall, I am very happy with my new Unlimited. My only real gripe is that the sheetmetal is way too flimsy. When drying off my Jeep after washing it, the sheetmetal goes "boing, boing, boing", especially the hood and front doors. That drives me crazy. I tell everyone that rides with me to make sure they use the door handles to shut the doors, and not push on the sheetmetal, because I'm afraid it will dent if they do. I would have gladly paid more for stronger sheetmetal.
