Default Suggestions to DC (Now Cerebus)

Things I have or will change before the OEM part wears out:
Already changed:
Muffler - axle-back Exhaust
SilverStar headlights and fogs
Edge Performance chip - Stage 1

Things I will change this year:
CAI/snorkel
"All On" lighting relays (high/Low and fogs)
4WD - High locker relays

Suggestions on existing build:
Put a lower 1st gear in the automatics. There is no reason to have a Rubicon maxxed out in 1st gear hit 40mph. It needs the extra low gearing with the 3.8
Allow the lockers to operate in 4WD high (snow & sand)
Install a microphone in the headunit of Every Radio that has a U-Connect button (useless buttons are offensive).
Build enough MyGigs to fulfill orders in less than 5 months
Improve the beam patterns of the headlights or offer HID
Make provisions for a Hi-Lift jack point on the stock bumpers. There is no where to use a Hi-Lift on a stock JK, because of all the plastic bumpers.
Add a "Shuffle" feature to the stock 6-disc head unit for CD & DVD formats.
Make the Time of Day the default for radios, not seconds left in the song.
Improve the air intake on the stock air-cleaner to draw air from the firewall or cowl area instead of the headlights.
Removable headrests in the back seat (no really removable)
A dealership flashable code setting in the computer to default OD to OFF at startup.
A Full ESPOFF flashable code at the dealership for 2WD (gravel roads are bad).
Make the seats a little more supportive in the side of the thighs and Please add a Lumbar adjustment.

Next offerings (options to add):
CRD diesel - I don't really care what size or builder - just do it.
4.7 Hemi or 5.7 MDS Hemi - more power, and probably the same mpg as 3.8L
ORT parts from MOPAR which can be installed at dealership.
Lifetime Warranty continued.
HID lights
Half doors for JKL - both factory and MOPAR (and make them affordable (not $7,000)
J8 pickup

The idea is to make full use of, or better use of what you already have. Much of the effectiveness of the stock capabilities is limited by computerized Electronic gadgetry and gizmo stugg (EGGS). We all know how easy it is to break EGGS

Ditto, plus:

better paint/clear coat (less scratch prone),
better soft top/hard top seals or design (fix the leak!!!)
Better glass (cheap crap scratches with a fingernail and cracks like ice)
Turn signal that turns off immediately
paint the damn passenger seat frames (they rust in no time)
Stainless exterior bolts that won't rust in 6 months!!
taller height on the "full" center counsel
Better front fog light glass that won't crack from heat
Integrate the lock cylinders into the exterior door handles
steel front skid plate
steel bumpers
4.0L Engine

I'm happy with the turn signals. But, the leaks need to be fixed, the plastic, add the diesel, and for pure luxury purposes, develop some scratch resistant plastic windows? Oh, and maybe redesign the rear roll up window, so it rolls up higher!

Default Motor Mounts

Replace the motor Mounts on the 6-Speeds, this would keep the shifter from flopping like a fish.
Move the dash tweeters so one could have space to clean around.
Move the tripometer button higher to clean around.

Bugs I found:
1) Reverse is too fast with too little torque, can't reverse into my driveway (too steep) and don't need to Nascar Race in reverse on a Parking lot!
2) Wiper switch is awkward, why use a stupid rotary command for ALL instead of a multistage lever with rotary only for interval setting?
3) Fog Light switch. I find it stupid to PULL for front fog light then TURN for rear. Double pull or extra switch would be better
4) WHY is the cruise control lever turning with the steering wheel ??? That's just plain stupid! Should be in fixed position as all commands
5) Need a hold open for cargo door! Stupid Cargo window slammed in my face while parking uphill and opening cargo door...
6) gonna check if it's only mine, but High beam is pointing too high, I need to see ground in front of me, no need to illuminate airplanes and tree tops
7) Buttons for "minicomputer" and Mile-counter are difficult to reach
8) Rear center seatbelt is for very skinny people only. need to relocate buckle a couple of cm to the left. Nice: it's a 3 point one...

Would be nice
- Little storage spaces for Maps, Phone, Shades and other every day items
- Factory drilled mirrors
- Different Bumpers! (European front REALLY SUCKS! With the rear one I'm prepared to loose my license plate)
- Rear view camera (option)
- Heated seats (option)

Maybe more will come, drove 2000 km last 2 days and will post a review of the Unlimited Rubicon with 2.8 CRD engine shortly. Stay tuned...

Heated seats? Power mirrors? Rear view camera? Isn't this supposed to be a Jeep. In my opinion, those kind of gizmos have no place on Jeep, as well as tire pressure monitoring systems. Come on guys. I hope DC doesn't put all this stuff in the next generation Jeeps. We're starting to lose sight of what a Jeep really is, a no frills rugged, simple vehicle that can provide fun and memories like no other. I think DC has already gone far enough with the luxuries in these JK's. I like mine just the way it is. Also, am I the only one who is not upset with the engine's power? Just my 2 cents.

I think it's OK if the gizmos are an option. I agree with the no frills rugged simple vehicle idea. But consider this: If a product appeals to more people it sells more and prices eventually come down.
Some of these options cater for more safety (power mirrors and rear view camera) a heated seat option would be nice for those of us living in places where Winter is REALLY winter (you, living in Canada, know what I mean).
I like mine too, even with the "bugs" I posted above. This doesn't mean that some enhancement would hurt the Jeep filosophy of the Wrangler.
You say "Want more gizmos? Get a Grand Cherokee!" .... Maybe you're right
I ordered mine without the "power convenience" but had to take it with the gizmos installed (no way to get it on time without and had to sell my car SOON as it was breaking)...
Again: If DC gives you the OPTION to have stuff you install afterwards on your own installed by factory and covered with warrancy why not? Doesn't mean you have to order them...

Since it was so nice yesterday, i just folded down the soft top and put it up for the first time yesterday. There has got to be an easier way to do this! zippers, velcros, and plastic retainers are a pain. It started raining while i was putting the top up, so i had to do it fast. I was driving home and it was louder than usual, so I had to redo it today because it just didn't go up the right way i guess.

How about interlocking soft panels that latch together and latches to the body.
