Default How do you store your soft top windows/

I put my top down for the first time and I hate to get my windows all scratched up. I was wondering how you store your plastic windows when you aren't using them?

I store mine hanging , I screwed these clamps I have for wood working (scissor type) to the wall...screw one side of the scissor to the wall and then just push on the other side and hang them up...I'll get pics tomorrow that should explain it keeps them nice and scratch free .

Theres a storage liner you can purchase, from jeep. I saw it on Amazon.com. I am going to get it. You roll the windows up, and place them in a bag.

I made two fleece pouches from the Fabric store. Put the rear window in one and the side windows in the other. Haven't been scratched since and cost like $20 and learned how to sew in the process

People also purchase a large tube and stick the rolled up windows in the fabric, then in the large tubes

I use the Mopar Window bag I got from my stealership but I dont roll them up. I hang them from the rear seat head rests or hang 'em up in my "garage"

Just saw Q-Tech sells them as well

I like the clamp idea but having them with you on longer trips would be nice too. I think if I'm nice, my wife might sew me a bag to put them in and just roll them up.

I have a 2dr and this is how I store my windows when I want to take them with me when I put the top down. I put one on tp of the other then fold them and put them between my rear seat and the folded top down. a little bit sticks out, but not past the seat. The rear window I just slide bewteen the windows and the folded top. I am not to concerned with scratching my windows to much because they are tinted and you can't see scratches on them as much as you would on clear windows.

I have a Clover patch window roll i won in a raffle. Its basically just some really soft felt you sandwich the windows in, then roll them up and slide them in the stuff sack that attaches to the rollbar above the folded down top, behind the rear seat. (make sure to get the right one though if this is the route you choose, they differ from the 2dr to the 4 dr.)

I like it becuase i always have my windows with me. I usually end up on long drives with the top down & by the time i am coming home it is cool out & the wife and kids are shivering so i need to have them with me.

You could make your own rather easily, but the stuff sack is kinda nice. $80 is kinda high for some felt & nylon, but after using it for 4 summers, i would definetly buy one again. Mine still looks brand new and it gets used a LOT. My windows go off and on frequently.
