Default How many Half-Doors?

I am just curious. One dealer gave me a difficult time over ordering Half-doors on my Rubicon.
(Actually tried to sell me the Sahara that was sitting on the lot)
They told me that no one wants them and that the resell value would be lower. I went to another dealer who gladly helped me order my jeep. So far I have only seen about 4 of the 4drs built like this (2 on this site). Does anyone else have them? Does anyone else want them? I'd love to see pics.

Yup, your's was the first one I saw on this site. Nice Ride!
Have any pictures with the top down?
Not too worried about the noise...always have Tool (or something) to muffle wind a bit.

If I haad the coin, I would buy a set (4) just like that!!! (I am snapping my fingers--really).
Half doors are great- but not too practical with 2 metre snowbanks around you.

Personally I think they look better than the full doors. That being said I have full doors because I agree I think you'll have to find the right buyer for 1/2 doors for resale. I also think there is more convienence to full doors, especially if you live where there are cold windy winters. But who ever bought a Jeep because it was convienent.

There are pics on www.jeep.com if you are interested.

If I had to do it again - I would! Never regretted getting the half metal doors!

I also have the half doors on my 2dr. Would not have had the Jeep without them....

I just ordered one with half doors.....couldn't find any available at any dealership.
I have half doors on my YJ now and it just wouldn't feel like a real Jeep to me with anything else.....especially when you have the top down.

I also like the half doors, but got the full doors on my Sahara. My reasoning went like this...I prefer the half doors when the weather is good, but the full doors otherwise. What I really want is both. What is the best way to get both...Buy full doors with the vehicle, then get aftermarket half doors.

I don't think it is too feasible to do this the other way around and end up with both.

Now, if the aftermarket would just finish up the design of those half doors and get them on the market

I think the half doors on the Unlimited look awsome with everything removed, but pretty fugly with the top and windows in IMO.
