I'm in JS status. Help please!
does anyone know the purpose of JS status? i called today and that's where i'm at. i was wondering how long my jeep is going to sit in storage, and why it's there in the first place.

from what i understand, my jeep is built.....but instead of it being shipped to my dealer, it was shipped to storage.
Go back thru the "Check your Vehicle Status" Sticky about 3 weeks ago. It happened to another person on that thread. Supposedly they grab a newly built jeep every so often and quality control check them.
I got caught in JS. The story I got from the dealer was that 200 vehicles were pulled from the production line after their build for an extra "quality control" inspection. I was in JS for about a week then the Rubi arrived. Hope this helps.
thanks for the help. i called my salesman who in turn had his manager call chrysler.
he promptly returned my call and told me that my jeep is in JS because they pull some of them to check for water leaks, which i guess would be quality control.
he said that the chrysler rep. told him that i should still be driving my JK by the end of this week.
fingers are crossed.
