I saw one up close at the chicago auto show, and I have to say it actually looks cool, I mean the stickers are dorky but the rest of the package is pretty sweet. I was really impressed with the way the rocky mountain edition looks, it has a graphite grille and cool mountain shapes in the seat upholstery. If your planning on a new jeep anyway, why not get one thats got neat little details like that?

I saw it today at the P.A.T. Chrysler dealer (Montreal)
Nice sticker. Rubi shocks, Rubi tires, seats are awesome! Unfortunately no lockers... Sahara steps.

Strangely the dealer has 4 Rubicons in stock, and they all have the Sahara steps

If it does, they can knock the coconuts off the option list on mine too.

Ok I have to Jump in.. Just traded my wifes 08 Yellow 4 door in on A blue Islander Saturday. I agree the Hood decals are a bit on the dorky side, but other than that what is not to like.

The Blue is a great color.
We went from a 08 hardtop 6 speed, no power nothin stripped ,Burns 2 quarts of oil per oil change, needed a new clutch, brakes, roof leaked ect ect .. to a

2010 Islander
3.8 L v6
4 Speed Auto ( not 5 like the dealer claimed)
3.73 Limited Slip rear Diff
Skid Plates
BF mud terrain tires
Rubi Shocks
Slush Mats ( Thats what sold me )
Power everything
Dual top Package
Tow package
Sirius Radio

This was a big Step up for us. I wish I could have Sprung for the Rubi, but it was just a bitt out of reach..

But tell me other than the Decal on the hood that I can remove in about 5 minutes What is not to like?

I think I got a pretty nice JK sport.

So please dont hate me for my sticker.... And I would still like to wave to all the Ultra cool jeep guys out there if thats ok

Sighned:

Living in JK Decal Hell... Ha Ha ha

Congrats on your new Jeep! I like the Islander a lot.

Does it really have Rubi shocks? That's pretty sweet.

Who knew that by putting a sticker on you could drive to the islands!??!

Now I want to put one of these on so I can go to the mountains!

And both the Islander and Mountain Edition have latitude and longitude printed on the hood decal so when you get lost you would know exactly where you should be to get found even though you aren't anywhere near the coordinates!

Now if THIS were an option I'd buy it in a heartbeat!
