Mrs. Rupedog is really getting into the Jeep wave. She came home last night and said as she was leaving our bank, a 4 dr was pulling in. The waved at the same time. Both had great big smiles. I think it's catchng on again. It just takes time and if us JK owners keep waving the other will get a clue.

I have owned my JK for 5 days and I have received more Jeep Waves in that time than in 4 years of driving a KJ. Never got one wave when I had an XJ.

Picked up my JK yesterday morning, so far 0 for 3 for waves. Two violators were mostly stock TJs and the other was a heavily modified CJ.

I live in Seattle and commute across Puget Sound to the Olympic Peninsula every day. In Seattle, I almost never get waves back. I think there's just too much traffic and too many lanes. People don't notice. But out on the peninsula, I'd say I'm running about 95% waves returned. Probably 5 or 10 a day. And that's coming from JKs, TJs, YJs, and CJs. All the jeepers wave out there.

I used to drive sports cars---- MG's Austin Healey etc..... Kindred waving was the norm.... Now with my JK almost all Jeeps I see wave, as do I..... And I'm in Connecticut, where are people more snobby than here?
