Looking for next acquisition ...
Hello, everyone. I was wondering what your thoughts are on model years to avoid when looking at a used JK or even TJ ... The wife will be looking for one in the near future ... Automatic transmission and 2-door models. Thank you.
There are several threads on this forum that might help.

Good luck in Jeep hunting!

Any model from 2007-2018. Honestly and seriously it all depends on who owned it before you. Get the engine temps down with ECU change of temp and a 185 thermostat if you get a Pentastar. Drive a Pentastar power RAM and see why I say the above. It needs cooling to work and the benefit is more timing due to lower temps.
