Love it...? or Hate it...?
I've had mine for almost a year and a half and just over 6000 miles. The only problems I've had are recalls that consisted of software updates -- I think I spent 10-20 minutes in the dealership waiting for them not counting the b.s. time.
Well this should tell ya somethin'.....
I'm 52 years old and up until a little over a year and a half ago I had never owned a new vehicle. So when it came time to get one......what did I buy???.........a new 07' 2dr JK.
I had owned it probably only 6 months or so and the engine light came on. Took it to the dealership and they had a real hard time finding the prob. They replaced all kinds of things before they figured out it was a bad wire in a harness. Fixed it, and haven't had a problem since. That was over 20k miles ago.
Having learned to drive in a CJ and grown up around them all my life, it was only natural to want another. BUT......up until the JK came out I never liked the looks of the Wrangler......always thought it was too squatly lookin' from the get go. Not to mention the the things I heard about mpg on them. But with the all new design of the JK.....it really made up my mind real quick.
The only gripe I have....and I mean the ONLY.............is these damn plastic fenders. Why they couldn't make them easy to clean or have the ability to pull them on and off for road/offroad use, is beyond me. But that's no big deal really.
I love my jeep and super glad I bought it...!!!

We have owned almost a dozen 4X4 of the real off road flavor...Blazers, Scouts, FJ40...etc. My only complaint, the JK is so good, it could get the beginner in way over their head on the trail, it makes it that easy and comfortable...I LOVE this thing!

This is my 1st Jeep or my 1st new "American" made vehicle...I had some issues that after a few trips to the dealer and getting involved with a Factory Rep were resolved, it's a slow ride, bad on gas, wife complains ppl can see her panties when she climbs in it....but you know I really have grown to like it...
I get compliments at work, can decide anytime if I want a 4 door convertible, drive without doors...get to work on a Blizzard....little things like that and most of all...other Jeeps owners wave at you...
...would I buy another one....sure especially when I got my JK for 29K loaded as I got the 1% above dealer cost deal thanks to being a UTC slave ...

My 07 has had nothing but problems. bad clutch, constant leaks from soft top, constant leaks from hard top, missing bolts, poor paint, disco died, etc. etc. etc. This is my fourth Jeep Wrangler and I feel I knew exactly what I was getting into and was very much looking forward to every moment about it.
Until I got the vehicle.
I am in the middle of a lemon case regarding it. I am not sure if I will get another. If I had it to do all over again, I would not have bought a JK. The build quality is horrible. Everyone I know with one has the problems I do and you see on this board.
I'm thinking about getting an LJ.

I bought mine with only the soft top. Put 25k on it with 2 trips to the dealer for a reflash & something else they recalled. I bought a hard top & now everybodies happy. I'm over 30k & use it as my daily driver.
