Default Made in the usa!

We all know that our country is in a rough spot right now, with the economic downturn and our political leaders refusal to put their petty bullsh*t aside to act like adults and do what is best for everyone instead of only themselves........etc etc etc. Sorry I digress.

The point of this thread is to shed some light on what and whose products are made solely in the United States so that we consumers who wish to support those companies can do just that. For example, I recently found out that ACE Engineering is based and manufactures their products right here in the US (and even better, only a few miles from where I live).

So, who else is there? Please enlighten me.

There are countless threads on vendors and products that are made in the usa or aren't. Search and you shall find.

The problem is that many product "made in USA" or "made in Canada", all the components are made in China

Gonna have to agree with you 100%. I wouldn't be surprised if I found out the "Made in USA" stickers were made in China - lol.

yep - - I've bought many an item "Made in America" only to see in fine print:

Assembled in America from imported components...

It's hard to find true Made in America, and as much as I try to support those businesses, especially the smaller ones, sometimes the budget just can't.

A few wheel manufacturers (sponsors of JK-Forum): the wheels are proudly made in USA, but the aluminium comes from China. Just an example...

BTW our OEM mags are made in China

If you have factory rims on your Jeep you have made in China wheels. Take one off and look on the back...
