Made in the usa!
The manufacturing technology in China has come up in leaps and bounds in the past 5-10 years. Now if you own an iPad, iPod, laptop, etc, probably made in China. Their steel and aluminum products have also come up a couple notches in quality. Some American automakers (Chevrolet) have started to have their entire engines made in China even for North American cars. If you had to pay an extra $10K for your Jeep, could you afford it?
What we all should be saying is stop all this buying and support with China. We all should be buying our products off western countries.
Their could be one problem with America as it is now owned by China.
It would cost each American $45,000 each just to pay of the loans which will never happen. You have to stop borrowing to buy toys like Jeeps. In less then 10 months America has to sign more loan agreements.

If you can, don't support any products from China. They will be one of our next enemies.
Every dollar we give them, they could kill a few more of us. And there are way more of them than us.

Agree 100%...I do my best to buy American. Takes a bit of searching but it can be done. Not as easy as going to the mall and buying what's there...now only if Apple would manufacture in the USA...
Most of the Warn and Ramsey winches are made in the U.S. and some of the Superwinch. I would go with something from the Taiwan maker before I would a Chinese made one.
Edit: I didn't mean to get an old thread going again, but given current events, it seemed more pertinent than ever. Plus it seems like there is another rebranded line of winches showing up every month.

Anyone that is Taiwanese does not like to be called "Chinese." There is good reason why dissidents to the Commie Mao Zedong regime fled mainland China and setup shop in Taiwan. There's a BIG difference between the PRC (People's Republic of China) and the ROC (Republic of China).
