Sorry I just get upset sometimes that people out there think that you can't have children and own a jeep at the same time, or that the only reason you own a 4 door jeep is because of your children. I was at the grocery store taking my kids out the of our 4 door jeep and a guy gets out of two door jeep and actually said I don't see why you didn't just buy a minivan it would have been easier. I looked at him, pointed at my 5 yr old and said we traded in "her" 2 dr jeep because she wanted a new and bigger jeep so all her friends could go muddin with her. The guy got beet red and stormed off all while his wife was Laughing at him.

It not JKU envy it's a sad truth that more people are buying JKUs that are not Jeep enthusiasts. They buy it drive it to the mall hop a curb or two and think they are off road warriors. I'm sorry but going down a dirt road with puddles does not make you a off road person.

I have so many people in my town that slap four 35". Tires on leave the spare stock and they never leave the pavement. No suspension lift just 35's it freaking makes me sick and the sad part is they are mostly JKU's

Be happy all those people are buying JKUs...that means Jeep keeps pumping them out and aftermarket companies stay in business. Parts are already expensive, I'd hate to see the prices if only hardcore off-roaders bought Jeeps. Also means lots of pristine rigs to buy used and build up!

I have to say, I don't get the criticism or acrimony with what people do with the things they buy it why they buy them. If everyone who owned a jk off roaded, the trails would be over crowded and beat to hell. If non- off roaders stopped buying jks, jks wouldn't be profitable and in production.

Secretly, under your breath, you should thank the mall-crawler crowd as they drive by without waving.

To each their own.
