Mods that pay for themselves?
"I am assuming that "CuteAndCool" is the handle for a young lady or a very effeminate guy"
Actually a joint handle, you can look them up on the urban dictionary

She's cute:

He's cool. Pretty fugly lookin but not effeminate
Scoots rule but the Jeep is fun if you have to cage it.

GPS. I'm terrible with directions. I used to get lost all the time and drive in circles. I bought a turn by turn (navigon) app for my iPhone. I think it was $30-40, has traffic updates, reroute, phone numbers to locations you are looking for to call ahead, etc. that and the free gasbuddy app that shows has prices for all the gas stations in the area have paid for themselves. Even if you go get a gps unit, it'll pay for itself.
Bottle of scotchgard. When you spill some coffee or your dig knocks over a drink you'll appreciate a quick wipe down over a steam vacuum. Same could be said about seat covers and floor mats/cargo area liners. Plus when you have pristine seats and carpet when you trade in an 09 for a 12, your trade in value can be much higher (seats are the 4th most expensive part of a car to the manufacturer after engine, transmission, and frame from what I understand).
Blind spot mirrors, $3. Saved me from turning into a lane even when seeing nothing after looking over my shoulder but noticing the flash of a tiny Honda as it zoomed into the blind spot in the little mirror.
Road side assist, $1 a month on a cell phone or insurance plan. I can change a Flat like anyone else but when it was pouring down rain and I had a suit on for the one time a year I wear a suit, it was well worth the money.
I was gonna claim the money I saved in the forum from advice and reviews offset the money I have spent because of the forum, but that would be rationalization and frankly, a lie.

If heavy wheeling replace the ball joints... Stock WILL go, and replacing in the field is a bitch or impossible if your not with someone who doesn't have a press of some type
Also, carry extra u-joints for axles and driveshafts cuz shit breaks
