Doesn't your JK have a temperature readout on the dash?

So they came yesterday. Took a couple pictures of the jeep, my wrist, and pictures of the original accident I took. It was very quick, the guy was in and out. I have no resolve and he coudnt even tell me if someone else was going to contact me. I will give them a couple days to get back to me and make this right. Otherwise my corporate attorneys say that I certainly have a case....

Good luck, and please keep us posted - although if this turns into a legal matter, you'll want to watch what you say. Like I said before, if some dumb woman can spill hot McDonald's coffee all over herself while driving and get millions, you should at LEAST get some hush money and an apology...

They probably couldn't tell you anything. From their end, it's best to say as little as possible, to not admit fault, and I would expect they'll probably make some sort of settlement offer. Something where you'd sign a document stating that you won't sue them, that they're not admitting fault, and making an offer that makes it worthwhile to sign the document. It's probably already cost them significantly more than what they made off of the door guards to investigate it.

A new car built by my company leaves somewhere traveling at 60 mph. The rear differential locks up. The car crashes and burns with everyone trapped inside. Now, should we initiate a recall? Take the number of vehicles in the field, A, multiply by the probable rate of failure, B, multiply by the average out-of-court settlement, C. A times B times C equals X. If X is less than the cost of a recall, we don't do one.

That paper test does make it look quite sharp... I've fixed that first pic for you, for court. Any word back from DCX's lawyers yet?
