There is nothing wrong, in my opinion, with them reinstalling the old parts and aligning it. They screwed up and are putting it back to how it was. Or your option is to pay for new stuff. In my opinion them accidentally installing new parts doesn't quite make it 'free' or 'crazy cheap' if you wanted to do it. However, since it's been done I would recommend you offer to pay for parts and not labor if you want the parts. It's easier for the dealership to pay the tech his $20/hr for two hours and keep it on there, than it is for him to remove the stuff again.
I guy I know that works at the service dept. of a local dealership told me that techs work for commission, not hourly. This is why unnecessary work is added to customers vehicles. I don't know this first hand, only what I've been told.
