Offroading at its worst
Welcome to the club, sounds like the clutch is toast. Unless you have a really great dealership the clutch probably is not going to be covered under warranty. I think the repair bill on mine was about $1200 to replace the clutch and the slave cylinder after I sucked a bunch of mud and water into it. Look on the bright side I also scewed up my rear driveshaft at the same time so you are not quite as big of a dumbass as I am.
I have not been near the deep stuff since.

is that "milkshake" (or something like that) at Rausch Creek?
if so, i ran that hole a few months ago and it wasnt nearly as deep. though i did get some good splashes through the open windows... my seats, and my kids clothes, still havent come clean!!

I had been through Milkshake before with no problems. And this time, I had just installed my new tires and wanted to try them out. But the added rain and a couple of guys with bigger tires had gone through before me, which caused me to get stuck.

Let me the first to congradulate you on a vital expensive learning experience many of us who have played in the mud have experienced. I know a lot about mud as in the past I had vehicles built for it (yes you build them specifically for mud just like you would for rocks). Now I stay away from most of it. Let me be the first to say that those tires you two have are not mud tires. They will suffice for a variety of terrains but NOT deep mud. Take a look a mud tires and you will see they have a design and effect to push like a propeller or paddle wheel to a point. In deep mud it is less a traction/slip issue and more can my tires "swim" me out.
