If you are referring to materials and construction, then the top speed would 50 MPH and EPA fuel economy would be 10 MPG.

I agree with you, but it is by design. There have more JKs sold on an annual basis than any other Wrangler or predecessor and many of these new owners would not appreciate the "old school" Jeep character.

I really like the interior of the JK over the TJ, but I never thought about a CJ interior. I think something similar to that would be pretty cool

I wish they would just put a willys on a jk frame and running gear, that would be a great anniversary jeep.

Awesome interior. I'd go for that. Looks a little like a mini though. Or minis look like the old jeep dash.
