A lot of people IN THE JK FORUM here are interested in the new changes regarding the JK!!

The 2012 is a JK so post away. I really don't get the hating, I always thought Jeep owners were very relaxed and cool....

For those who test drove the 2012 early and couldn't tell the difference in the lower speeds, you have to go test drive one that is broken -in. Before the break-in period.. i thought most people got it on the dot about not feeling much difference at the lower speed but now is a whole different beast. I'm very close to 1K now on my odomenter and somehow it has more kick to it. In addition, it is MUCH smoother and this baby just goes with little effort. You can really feel the 40% extra power.

Is anyone else experiencing the same on their Pentastar??
yes! i have 850 miles on my 2012 and im in love!

Nope. Any large group of people will have examples of all the different personalities.

There has been plenty of hate for things other than 2012. It will always be present.

Also it takes around 2500 miles to break in an engine... Just saying. You dont have to try an justify the 3.6 (its an ok engine) just not what most of the community would of liked.
Must be one of the jeepers that got a [good deal]... on a 2011.

Hell no! Love my bare bones hard plastic interior 08. No hate for the 12s just not impressed with the way Crapsler went.

Yes, nothing is more annoying than a 41% increase in horsepower coupled with improved fuel mileage.

But those of us who bought a 2010 have gotten 2 more full years of enjoying a Jeep versus waiting for some things that really don't make THAT big of a difference in your overall Jeep experience...

When and if I feel the need, I'll trade in the 2010 for the latest and greatest, but for now, I don't regret in the slightest buying my JKU when I did - it's been an awesome 2 years!

I'm happy for the guys with the 2012's. Sounds like they (Chrysler) went in the right direction, with some things anyway! Maybe someday I'll have one with the new engine too. For now - I'm happy with my 2007, 'cuz it's mine and paid for, and I'm glad they're happy.

Peace, man...
