Pentastar Break-In Difference!
A lot of people IN THE JK FORUM here are interested in the new changes regarding the JK!!
The 2012 is a JK so post away. I really don't get the hating, I always thought Jeep owners were very relaxed and cool....

WOW! There is a very big difference after the breakin period of the Pentastar.
For those who test drove the 2012 early and couldn't tell the difference in the lower speeds, you have to go test drive one that is broken -in. Before the break-in period.. i thought most people got it on the dot about not feeling much difference at the lower speed but now is a whole different beast. I'm very close to 1K now on my odomenter and somehow it has more kick to it. In addition, it is MUCH smoother and this baby just goes with little effort. You can really feel the 40% extra power.
Is anyone else experiencing the same on their Pentastar??

Wow! With another 100 or so miles you'll be able to go mach1 at 75mpgs. This penstar is amazing!!! Not in the least.....
Also it takes around 2500 miles to break in an engine... Just saying. You dont have to try an justify the 3.6 (its an ok engine) just not what most of the community would of liked.

Yes, the motor feels substantially better with 1000 miles on it. I've also noticed my fuel mileage creep up another MPG. I'm extremely satisfied with my Wrangler, especially with the new interior and the Pentastar motor. I'm very glad I didn't buy a 2010 back when I first started shopping for one.
When and if I feel the need, I'll trade in the 2010 for the latest and greatest, but for now, I don't regret in the slightest buying my JKU when I did - it's been an awesome 2 years!
I'm happy for the guys with the 2012's. Sounds like they (Chrysler) went in the right direction, with some things anyway! Maybe someday I'll have one with the new engine too. For now - I'm happy with my 2007, 'cuz it's mine and paid for, and I'm glad they're happy.
Peace, man...
