I'm happy with my 2011 only regret I would have had is if they came out with v8 and they didn't, so I would have to say had some good times in the 2011 wouldn't trade for anything. Just happy to own a jku ruby

Yup... didn't have the TCS button on and broke the back end loose pulling out in front of a big rig. Wasn't on purpose and did not expect that. Mine is just about to 900 miles and I do feel that the engine is loosening up a bit. Transmission still shifts very early though? Must have something to do with the TPS sensor. Avg 18 mpg in the city currently and seems to be going up. Watching that total is getting addictive.. need to switch back to the outside temperature..

I don't understand the hatred towards the pentastar? I was under the impression jeep owners were respectful of eachother and improvements in the jeep model were generally regarded as a "good thing"? I don't think any of us pentastar owners are gloating or mean to come across that way (still to early to tell if there are any drawbacks to this model). We are just in the air on it and would like some guidance/opinion's from this great community.

As all wrangler owners should be... Spread the love.

Let me clarify that this thread is for peeps who are in the market of a new JK. If anyone is debating betwen the discounted 2011 or 2012.. go with the 2012. And if you already just brought the 2011.. much love and enjoy it!! And if you see a 2012.. wave and dont hate.

Amen brother! As a stock 12' owner, let me say that I am jealous of all of the 07-11 modified jeeps I see rolling around. Mine may be new, but it doesn't look like that..........yet.

The same is true for the 2011. After 2000 miles, mine is definitely a different vehicle with much more acceleration. They must program a "governor" or some sort during the break in period for both 2011-2012.

I went and test drove a 2012 Rubi 6 speed just to see the difference and I loved it. Not just the engine but the clutch and shift difference. I can only imagine the difference once a programer is installed. Will I trade up? Not unless I hit the lottery or my 07 catches on fire. Hell I wish I could trade up just to get the Dozer color the engine would be a plus.

See if you can try to test drive one thats 'broken-in'.. you'll probably want to buy one at the spot. =)
