Tires crown (not flat across the top), so when you measure ground to the shoulder of the tire, it will be less than if you could measure down the middle of the tire. Still, I doubt it's a full inch of difference.
I bet the measurements are at the tallest point (middle of tire), full psi and off the veh.

Thanks for the replies but can't someone post some pics for me. I know the Rubi's have 32's but if anyone can post pics of aftermarket 32's with different wheels or X's with 32's I would appreciate it.

I just measured my spare and crown to crown it is exactly 31 1/2"

These are aprx 32" on factory 16" rims.







They are for sale: tires, rims or both....

Thanks shredx. Im leaning more now to getting 32's with no lift. Now i need to find a good wheel and tire combo for my stone white JK:confused:

These are 265/75 16's. They are just a little shorter that 32".

No prob, but those fit fine without a lift. No rubbing ever.

If i was close, i would buy them. But i will likely find them locally without paying out the wazoo for shipping.

My spare, crown to crown is about 31.75.
My tires on the vehicle, about 50degrees in the garage @35psi, measure 31.

do you have a lift?
are you using stock rims?
do your current BFG MT 285/70/R17's have any rubbing issues?

I am interested in that size, but i am using stock rims and no lift, curious if you have issues.
