Tires crown (not flat across the top), so when you measure ground to the shoulder of the tire, it will be less than if you could measure down the middle of the tire. Still, I doubt it's a full inch of difference.
I bet the measurements are at the tallest point (middle of tire), full psi and off the veh.

Thanks for the replies but can't someone post some pics for me. I know the Rubi's have 32's but if anyone can post pics of aftermarket 32's with different wheels or X's with 32's I would appreciate it.

Thanks shredx. Im leaning more now to getting 32's with no lift. Now i need to find a good wheel and tire combo for my stone white JK:confused:

are you using stock rims?
do your current BFG MT 285/70/R17's have any rubbing issues?
I am interested in that size, but i am using stock rims and no lift, curious if you have issues.
