tebo,
sorry about your frustration man,i know waiting for something really sucks but shrockworks is known for being slow. i have the sliders and they are great
As far as david goes ,i have had nothing but good experiences with him.i have had some issues with certain things i've ordered and he has handled the issues immediately. heck i even had the wrong bumper delivered and the wrong bumper was picked up and the correct bumper received within days.
unfortunately northridge takes thh hit for bad service when actually it is the supplier that is causing the problem. kind of like getting pissed at your server for bad food that came out of the kitchen at your favorite place to eat.
I hope you receive your stuff shortly and are happy when you get it

Ok guys this is getting out of hand, i have been telling all customers for the past three months that call for shrock products that it is five-six months.

my hands are tied here , kevin from shrockworks wants all inquires to be directed to gim directly, I am very sorry that you didnt like my answer i cant do much more than that in this situation. i totally understand your frustration but if there was anything i could do about it i hope you know i would. is the wait time way to long, hell yes it is. does it suck, of course it does. there really is three options, cancel the order, wait or change to bumper we have.
please tell me what i can do differently and I will.

David

Well, you can't ask much more than that. Tell him how you'd like it handled and he will do it. Yup, waiting 8 months blows. You probably had yor heart set on getting it months ago. David probably did too.

Even though i thought it was not my responsibility to do so i did. So when i am told that i will not receive it until May i start to wonder where the original 30 days comes from.
As for the wait i went on this forum and saw that people were waiting an average of 4 months to receive the product. Not 8. so i am not being impatient. Entire Jeeps are built in less time.
So for contacting Northridge first about the issue; i did. And i was told to find out where it was for myself. I was not even given shrockworks phone number.
Just because you received good service from a company doesn't mean i haven't. I have worked for companies like Northridge, I am not a young kid and i know customer service. I know about quality products, you get quality service. Maybe my experience is different from yours. Just accept it.
I would like to thank you for making me feel more intelligent, patient, and understanding. I thought I could be demanding and impatient but you are a real tool IMO. Just accept it!

I think the forum is the perfect spot to tell people about great service you have had, and to tell people about bad service you have had. The exception is though when you come running to the forum before giving someone the chance to make you happy. I really like shrockworks products and have considered buying their bumpers, but I did not want to wait right now. When their products ship faster I will place an order. Hell, I may go ahead and order it anyway. They make a superior product. I think it is worth the wait.

I don't think that there is any resolution to your "situation" that would make you happy. BTW- I don't see a situation except for you talking shit, Shrockworks taking longer than you want to build your product, and David not kissing your ass as much as you want. You said you did not think calling Shrockworks was your responsibility? So, who is responsible for your bumper? You think David is in control of Shrockworks production time?

So what do you think David did wrong? From what I see you wanted him to sell you a Shrockworks bumper... He sold you a Shrockworks Bumper. You contacted him asking when it would come... He emailed you back and told you how to find out. You cried about it in the Forum... He offers kind words and your money back. Will you explain to me how exactly you were wronged? I guess I am not smart enough to figure it out.

northridge seems to be a first class act; rare in this day and age, but i understand tebo's frustration.

8 months wait for a bumper is pretty f'kn excessive, no matter what the quality.

shrockworks is the problem, not northridge or tebo!!

but what the fuck do i know............
Maybe they should make a product of lower quality or outsource to another country to decrease wait time? Maybe they should stay in the same facility to make sure you get your bumper right away and forget about the increased production capacity in the long run... They should forget about the future o their company, and economic growth, possibly creating more jobs for Americans, because you think they wait is unacceptable.

Go order hand made Ferrari. Or a designer suit. Maybe a top end leather jacket and tell me you did not have to wait for that. When quality is extremely high, longer wait times are expected. It is that way in every business, everywhere in the world. But what do you know?

It is hard to have as much care and sympathy toward other peoples problems as you do for your own. I can't say I have seen any wrong done here.

Every situation is different, but in the end of December I PM'd David at Northridge. I told him that I was going beteween the LoD bumper and the Shrockworks. He was straight forward with me and said it would be 6 months. Based on his honesty I went with the LoD, which I am very happy with. Even on his website, on the Shrockworks page, it says to expect delays. If you tell anyone on this forum that you are looking at a Shrockworks anything, they will respond that you will have a lengthy wait.

Now the situation that youare in could be unique or different, but I would be fair to David at Northridge. I cannot believe that he would lead you to believe that it would be a short delivery time when he was so up front with me.

I do not intend to be combative, just sharing my expierence.

That's just crazy. The person probably didn't even know they are in the process of moving to another facility. That comunist bastard wanting to take jobs away from Americans! Lets lynch him.

I'm sure Northridge is a great company. Otherwise they would be out of business. But just like at a restaurant, when your food takes too long or comes out wrong it is the serever who takes the flack and probably won't get a good tip. Maybe my experience is different than yours but it happened. For everyone slamming me in this thread, you all make me laugh. Like one of the other guys said, i think hbomb, until it happens to you...
This is a forum where people voice their experiences. You don't like my experience so you turn to childish remarks. It makes me second guess the quality of this forum.
