Poor service all around

My service and ordering experience with David at Northridge has been awesome. He helped me at 9pm on Sunday night from his cell phone when I was installing my own lift and had questions. He's also told me before that I didn't need to order something from him because he didn't think it would help with the performance of my JK, when I was totally ready with money in hand to buy.
Now that's true customer service and being a successful business owner, there's one thing I've learned to accept, there are just some people out there you can NEVER satisfy...poor souls.

I think I am done. All I wanted to say is I think you jumped to the forum a little fast when you didn't get the answers you want. I don't think your restaurant analogy is relevant. The situation is more like :
"I took my car to oil hut yesterday and they got a grease spot on my seat" "I called the car wash connected to it and talked to their manager about the problem and they said I should call the oil hut" Then you run to church and tell everyone that will listen to you how "oil hut" ruined your seats and won't fix it. Two weeks later oil hut is empty because everyone in town has heard how they intentionally spilled a quart of oil on your dash and your car blew up. On the flip side you could have called "oil hut" directly and they would have gladly listened to what you thought to be a fair solution and they would have worked hard to make you happy. Two years later "oil hut" goes bankrupt.
I love freedom of speech, and I love forums where people can express their thoughts and ideas. When people recklessly bash companies on the internet it can have serious consequences. There are so many companies to buy the same parts from that you need an edge to succeed. If your edge is your good name and your service it can be more than just a venting in a forum. I am done.
I still don't think anyone wronged you and I think this thread should be deleted. IMO you are just another type of troll.

I would like to thank you for making me feel more intelligent, patient, and understanding. I thought I could be demanding and impatient but you are a real tool IMO.

I think the forum is the perfect spot to tell people about great service you have had, and to tell people about bad service you have had. The exception is though when you come running to the forum before giving someone the chance to make you happy. I really like shrockworks products and have considered buying their bumpers, but I did not want to wait right now. When their products ship faster I will place an order. Hell, I may go ahead and order it anyway. They make a superior product. I think it is worth the wait.
I don't think that there is any resolution to your "situation" that would make you happy. BTW- I don't see a situation except for you talking shit, Shrockworks taking longer than you want to build your product, and David not kissing your ass as much as you want. You said you did not think calling Shrockworks was your responsibility? So, who is responsible for your bumper? You think David is in control of Shrockworks production time?
So what do you think David did wrong? From what I see you wanted him to sell you a Shrockworks bumper... He sold you a Shrockworks Bumper. You contacted him asking when it would come... He emailed you back and told you how to find out. You cried about it in the Forum... He offers kind words and your money back. Will you explain to me how exactly you were wronged? I guess I am not smart enough to figure it out.
Maybe they should make a product of lower quality or outsource to another country to decrease wait time? Maybe they should stay in the same facility to make sure you get your bumper right away and forget about the increased production capacity in the long run... They should forget about the future o their company, and economic growth, possibly creating more jobs for Americans, because you think they wait is unacceptable.
Go order hand made Ferrari. Or a designer suit. Maybe a top end leather jacket and tell me you did not have to wait for that. When quality is extremely high, longer wait times are expected. It is that way in every business, everywhere in the world. But what do you know?

they can make a "hand made ferrari" in pretty much the same amount of time as shrockworks seems to be able to make a "single bumper." seems a little ridiculous to me, regardless of the quality.
next time you wait an hour for a really good coffee remember to say "yea, but it's a really good coffee!!"
and one last thing; if i order a jeep from a dealer and don't get it initially when i am told i would, i would be all over the dealer to find out why the fuck not and would not expect them to give me the number of the assembly plant to find out on my own.

actually they do give you a number to call
Just for the record so I know for sure that everybody knows,
I call shrockworks kevin says David please have the customer call me. so the mfg is requesting to talk with the customer directly.

Thanks HBomb. You seem to be one of the few living in reality. Why is it that you can say good things about a business on a forum but for gods sake don't say anything negative. Also we have not quoted 4 weeks on sw products for a few years 6-8 is th e lowest we have quoted and for the past 4months or so it has been 5 months.

And to be honest i would still buy products through Northridge. Everything got out of hand pretty quick. I understand that Northridge can't help how shrockworks operates. If a supplier causes nothing but headaches you have to question wether or not you want to do business with them.
My only issue with Northridge was that they got my hopes up by telling me i would get it in 30 days. Had i been told it would be May, then my frustration would be geared towards shrockworks. Also in my oppinion, wether shrockworks asked or not, having the customer do the leg work is frustrating for them. I want to talk to the man with my money, if the man with my money doesn't have my answers then the man with my money gets them. I accept that shrockworks requested the customer calls, but as a store owner i would do the leg work myself.
I say that as constructive criticism and only say it to clarify why i was frustrated and feel i had poor service. I'm not calling Northridge out as a poor company.

I wasn't going to say anything else either but I think calling him a troll is a bit harsh. He explained the issue how he saw it and people responded. I for one think that is good and companies like Northridge4x4 will be better off because of it. It's actually good publicity all the praise they are getting.
