Default Pros and Cons of Independent suspension

With all the Death Wobble and Bump steer problems, does anyone wish Jeep would go to a front independent suspension?

4x4 Ultimate Adventure Event Coverage at Four Wheeler Network

Probably one of the hardest trips out there. Not only has an IFS never won, but no IFS has ever finished. Food for thought.

Take a look at some of the rigs that used to be IFS

http://youtu.be/2HJxya0CWco Solid F/R axle is one of the best things JK's have over every other vehicle available in US market in terms of offroad capability. If they take that away in favor of road manners, they will lose a lot of customers, and it will then officially no longer be a real wrangler. JK and JKU both out perform YJ's and TJ's in stock form, so the argument that JKU's aren't real jeeps is just ignorant

Ah no! If you're having death wobble or bump steer issues, you need to set up your suspension appropriately.

haha then they woud be much more comfortable in a Ford Raptor, no offense.

Raptor= IFS, built for desert and has power and speed
IFS JK- IFS, built for desert, lacks power for going thru the desert at speed

I live in Iowa, not alot of mountains to climb. I drive mostly trails to fishing holes. I love my Jeep, I'm not buying anything else.... I was just wondering why it is so taboo to consider IFS? Are there Performance shops that would do a conversion?
