Have got pretty good service most of the time. Do sometimes get an operator that does not know as much about jeeps or maybe does not care as much as others. My issue is that the quality of products that I recieve from them keeps getting worse. Things like bad welds or crap paint , small things but still I paid hard earned money for them so they should be as nice as advertised at least. Bestop products suck lately.

I like the guys at Q-tec. In person they are friendly and appear knowledgeable. I live nearby, so the ride is only 45 minutes one way. If there is a question on whether they have something in stock I call ahead. If they have it in stock I ask them to put a hold on it for a few hours till I drive down and get it.

My only complaint is their catalog is very unorganized. Or maybe I just don't understand the manner in which it's organized. I find it a major PIA to find ANYTHING I'm actually looking for and just end up browsing through tons of TJ stuff with a few JK items thrown in the mix.

I like 4WD's catalog as far as the organization goes. I agree with you on Quad's catalog. Impossible to find what I'm looking for.
On the other side of the coin, I've ordered a bunch of stuff from Quadratech and have never had a problem with backorders or shipping (knock on wood).

I have not had any problems with QT yet but when I have talked on the phone with them I get some of the feeling about there service some of you have gotten.David at northridge seems to be much more customer friendly.

QT's prices are generally higher than someone else on the web & you pay ridiculous shipping fees...not to mention I have to PA sales tax...I try to support David at Northridge if I need something.

I used Quadratec 7 times, and I have been very satisfied. Fast shipping, and a very good online account for the clients.

The only problem; they refuse to ship USPS, and for the Canadians, it's a big problem:
The custom fees of USPS is a flat rate of 5.00$ CDN
The custom fees of UPS is about 55.00$ CDN
Also the shipping fees by UPS is 2X

Example: If I buy a Jeep part at 49.99$ USD

UPS: 49.99$ USD + custom 55.00$ CDN + shipping 20.00$ USD
USPS: UPS: 49.99$ USD + custom 5.00$ CDN + shipping 10.00$ USD

If Quadratec becomes Canadian friendly, it will be very good for them and for us

i have bought quadratec one time... great experience... but the shipping prices bug me, the back order (2 items in my first order) bugs me... but their website is one of the most user friendly, easy on the eyes, and well laid out that I have seen from a manufacturer.

So I use the website for the new items and buy them elsewhere.

We greatly appreciate every one's input on this topic. Unfortunately you cannot please all the people all the time but we attempt to please everyone we can. As a friend once told me, that's why they make chocolate and vanilla. For the inadequacies in our call center, I cannot respond to that as I am on the web only. I would suggest though that if you do call ask for jasona@quadratec.com at extension 367. He is my salesman and he will be able to help you.

As for regards to our shipping charges and prices: Keep in mind that many products have a set advertised price. Others that offer free shipping and such look at the price your paying. Some vendors offer free shipping on large bumpers...they are price about $150 more than Quadratec's price but add the shipping charges you pay the same or close to it. The first rule of economics is 'There is no such thing as a free lunch." You pay for it one way or the other - Quadratec does have the low price guarantee and if you call we can price match. Again, I think you all for your comments and they will be passed along to the proper channels.

Every company is going to have issues once in a while. Doen't matter where you go there is going to be someone who is not helpful. But that is an issue with a single individual, it is unfair to blame an entire company for that one individual.

Quadratec has always done right by me, and I have ordered a lot of stuff from them. The have a great return policy and stuff get's to me in a timely manner.

Also, the folks over there have gone out of their way to help JK forum members in need. Take a look at this report from the East Coast JK fest.

https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/show...ight=quadratec

The quadratec guys came in when the shop was closed to help a fellow JK forum member out when he was in need. To me that says a lot about the overall company.

My only beef with them is that the items i usually want are on backorder.

Now, when i place orders my first question is "Do you have it in stock?" If not, i just move on to the next company.

They also price match every time i have asked.

What i would suggest is that if you do experience bad service get the persons name and ID number if they have one. Hang up and call back and ask for a supervisior. Usually the squeeky wheel gets the oil
Ahhsooo........sometimes squeaky wheel get replaced grasshoppa!
