remove front bumper cover?

Default remove front bumper cover?

I recently squished my front bumper and the plastic looks ugly and dont really like the stock one can I remove the cover? Is it legal in WA? Do jeeps even have to have bumpers?

got any pics?

I'm sure they have to have bumpers, the bumper without the cover doesn't look that bad, the picture above is without the whole bumper.

This is mine with the plastic cover removed. You have ot knock the "crush cans" off and grind down the left over welds. I did that and repainted and thougth it looked pretty good. The second pic is after I added the front stinger bar and cut it down to a stubby.

I like the way that one looks. Might just have to do that to mine.... anything you can do to the back bumper?

I'm looking at doing the same thing, and want to keep my factory fog lights intact. Obviously from looking at Bone's pics, the fogs mount in the plastic, and the holes in the metal bumper are just to allow them clearance. I'm thinking that some kind of sheet metal pieces will have to be constructed to cover the larger holes and have smaller holes in them to mount the fogs.

Anyone do this and can reply with pics?
