its bullshit I live in toledo and still get the damn shipping charge of 6xx.xx something... they are built right down the street from the dealership... damn.... goodluck buddy I bought the x being that for the money i saved i could build something that desimates rubicons.

Here we go, I just got back from the dealer I ordered my Rubicon from. The other dealer with the Rubicon I want will NOT do a dealer trade at all. In fact he even got a laugh out of us asking. Seems that Rubicon's are hard to get. So we did contact two other dealers that thought about a trade but it coun'nt be done. They wanted to much from my dealer in return for the Rubicon.
So I set here with a Rubicon on order and can't even get a vin or delivery date other than to say it's at least 8-10 weeks away still.
Now here is what I have done. My dealer did find a Sahara Unlimited 4dr with everything I wanted, in fact the only thing on the Sahara that was'nt on my Rubicon will be a remote start. Of corse it won't have lockers or 4:10 gears or the Rubicon transfer case. But I will have my new Sahara in about 4 days, 5 at the most. Plus I saved almost $4200.oo that I will put into some other mods to the Sahara.

Congrats Boots!
I know its not a Rubi but unless you are really hard core rock climbing, the Sahara will perform well for you. Its a great looking vehicle ( no cat killin here!). I think you will be very happy with it.

Wow... In several days you have effectively owned 3 wranglers... and haven't sat in a single one!
first was the on-order X... Just days away from delivery. Then the Rubicon (which probably would've been closer to a 12 to 20 week wait...) and now a Sahara.
Imagine what your dealer is going to do if you walk onto that parking lot before your Sahara comes in!!!
As for the Rubicons. Those are gold. They're impossible to get in many locations. If you're a dealership looking to do a swap with another Dealership that has one, you better be willing to trade another rubicon and an X for it before they even consider your offer!
