Default Selling the Jeep ?'s

So I have about 7K miles on my 2010 2dr JK sport and just was in the dealership for the 5th warranty item

I never once had either of my last 2 Jeeps in the shop even once!! I feel that quality in the JK is lacking. Don't get me wrong, I love my Jeep outside of the issues I have had. Hell the soft top took 2 months to get resolved...

With all that said, I have been stopping into Dealerships and looking at other trucks/cars. The one question I have is how do I find out what my 2010 is worth trade/private sale if all the websites only do 2009 and older (Kelly Blue book, ect)

I'm trying to find out what my ride is worth, what I will loss getting something new this early, ect...

Thanks for the input guys (and gals)

Default Don't give up

You will def be upside down. That is the worst thing you can do is sell it the first year you own it. The dealership people will be waiting to rape you and in a private sale I don't know to many people these days that have over 20k to spend without financing. My advise stick it out till the remodel 12s come out trade it in and enjoy the new HP and interior. As you stated earlier not all Jeeps are lemons you might of got a Monday build after a Holiday..lot of hungover sleepy people making lemons.

Monday build, that's pretty funny actually! I put a good down payment on it whne purchased, so I "think" the private sale would be above water, but trade would suck (like always).

Thanks for the advise, but anyone know how to value out a 2010?

Feel ya, but have better things to do with my time than drink their crappy coffee in the waiting room for my NEW ride to be fixed every month..... I should be charging them hourly time!!

Default Use NADA

This is what most of the dealerships use. Then use the rough trade in this what they use.
That should give you a pretty good idea.

if its really broken that much why not pursue lemon lawing it.. you get your money back and go get something else

I agree with the bad one good one thing.. my last JK sucked... the one I have now rocks..

the last one was built the friday before christmas of 07... the current one was built the monday they returned from extended layoff in january 09.. (first day build)...

They don't list 2010's yet, this is my problem with NADA and Kelly Book.

I have a friend that just traded in an '08 Sahara and the dealer gave him an '09 low miles huge F-350, giant engine, dually. King cab or whatever, it's a huge, awesome truck.

Dealer traded him straight up, and the truck sticker price was way above the Jeep's but the dealer said they can't hardly sell the big trucks anymore, no demand, but the Jeep's are selling like hotcakes.

So keep looking, you might find a dealer that's willing to give you a good deal on the JK.
