The deal is its a daily driver, but only for me. We have a family vehicle, I am just trying to decide if I want to take the hit and start over again. I love my 2 Dr. I dunno. The whole thing has me anxious.

I traded in my 2000 TJ for a 2010 JK unlimited for the same reason, but I hardly ever have my girl in my Jeep. She typically rides in my wifes Escape. So, I could have kept my TJ.

Note though, my TJ was lifted and rode rough so in the first few months it would have been a horrible idea to put her in it because she hadnt built up her neck muscles but now its no big deal. So, its up to you, but if your wife has her own car, you can get by with your Jeep.

I feel like a hormonal teen. After talking it over with the wife, I think I am pretty well set on just keeping my Jeep. Joe002, I love what you posted. I want both, and I have been on a couple of hills that had me wondering if I would go end-over. I was a little worried to say the least. But, after looking a your first picture, that being the kind of stuff that I really want to do, I think I'll stay with what I've got. If a hill ends up being a little bit sketchy, I can always throw a line to the top to keep me from rolling over. Thanks for all the input guys. I really want to make a trip out west and check out the stuff I am really interested in.

Look at it this way its always better to have more and not need it rather than not have enuff and need more.

We all had 2 doors on that trip. I know a 4 door can make it - just need to do a little more (careful) "points" in the turn. So far on the trails we've been good with our 2 door.

There is only my wife and I, but when we purchased our new 2011 Unlimited Rubi, and traded our 2009 "X", I have never been more satisfied. Yes, the turning radius is a bit more, but the room one has for all kinds of junk, and the ride and stability as compared to the short track 2dr is well worth it. Towing is better as well. I have no regrets at all in having made the change.

I like the two door but a guy I work with is more than happy with his 4 door.
