Teraflex 3 inch? ? ?
ok sobim looking at finally upgrading to a 3 inch Terraflex suspension lift...it seems like a complete kit to me...im currentky running a leveling kit with 33x12.5x18 Nitto Mud Grapplers...I want to do the 3 inch lift and run 35x12.5x18 Nitto Mud Grapplers tires will get upgraded when tires need to be replaced which wont be for a little while but i dont mind running the 33s for a little while longer...gives me time to re-gear by that time.
Just wondering if anyone has this set up?
Is this set up worth the cost?
I want to hear your opinions and see any pics if you have this set up...thanks :-)

This system includes a 3" lift kit, shocks, front lower FlexArms and rear upper FlexArms, front swaybar disconnects, rear swaybar links, rear trackbar bracket, bumpstops and all necessary hardware.
$1,740 for everything above
Front adjustable trackbar (part # 1753418) $240 also needed and recommended by the shop.

I have the exact same lift. Been on my jeep for 7 years. Front shocks just went out about 3k miles ago. Everything about it is pretty great. I would just get some jks front swaybar discos and you will be extremely happy.

I am bringing this tread back from the grave. I am looking at doing this same set up 3" Teraflex with 35/12.5/18 with Nitto mud grabblers. So my question is did you go with this set up? Does anyone have pics of this set up on a JKU?
Thanks
Thanks
Now, it's my turn to resurrect the thread. I saw on a vendor's website last night that the Teraflex 3-inch kit uses 2.5-inch lift coils and just adds half-inch spacers to them.
Can anyone confirm whether that's accurate? It surprises me that a company like Teraflex would cut corners like that. But, looking at the product images, it does appear the kit includes four short spacers.
If that's their approach, I'm thinking I could save some money by getting the 2.5-inch kit and adding the brake lines, spacers and track bar separately.

I am not a fan of teraflex but I would not call this a short cut as the 1/2" spacer will allow you to fine tune your height a bit as different jeeps weigh different amounts and some drivers like to level their jeep (??) while others want to keep the rake so they ride more level when the rear is loaded with gear. I really doubt in buying a full kit it is going to fit every vehicle the same and you are not going to be able to maximize the amount of suspension travel without making other modifications so that 1/2" is really not a big deal.
That makes sense. I suppose it just took me back, given the $300 price difference between the 2.5 and 3-inch basic kits. ($854 and $1,159, respectively) The only new parts are the front brake lines and those four half-inch spacers.
I'd decided months ago on a Metalcloak kit, but recently had started giving Teraflex a fresh look.
