Default Too short?

Got a question for the vertically challenged JK drivers out there. I've read in a few different places that the driving position is somewhat cumbersome for shorter drivers. I'm 5'3'', and just bought my first jeep. I test drove it a few times, but there's only so much time to fiddle with the seat on a 10 min test drive. i suppose i should have asked first and bought second, but i've wanted a jeep ever since i can remember...just want to know if my first mod is going to have to be a DEX for the driver's seat

Unlike the TJ, the JK seat can be raised. Many suffer from the other problem, getting it low enough for taller drivers. My wife is about 5'4" and she has no issues w/ the JK.

My wife's 5' even and she has no problem with driving the Jeep. The height adjustable seat really helps. She's even developed an elegant way to hop on while wearing a skirt!

Hell, I'm only 5'7" and I like to pump up the seat a bit also. Bear in mind though that the seat does have a nasty habit of lowering itself in time so you have to keep pumping it up once in a while.....I guess its (yet another) "Jeep thing"!

Sorry, But no self respecting guy is going to admit to being vertically challenged.

I am 5'7" and my wife is 5'3" and we can both drive it without issue, a few pumps an the seat lifting handle and she is good.

You've got nothing to worry about. I'm 5'5" and when I first got in my JK I thought I felt a little low in the seat. Couple of seat pumps upwards and I sit perfectly. Nice full view of the road. You're good to go. Have fun!

Too Short? Yeah he's one of my favorite rappers!
My wife is also 5'3" and I'm 5'7" we both feel very comfortable. She just pumps the seat a few times.
