I put the hard top back on already, and yes I cringed. I know a few people are still running their soft tops about, but id guess that about half the JK I see have their hard tops on now, (or never took them off).

Just too cool out to put the top down at all, so i figured id throw it on. Thinking next year i'll leave it a bit later, maybe mid Oct, but not much after that.

I already want to take it back off.

Cheers

Marc

I put the hard top on early this year because we moved to an appt and now have no place to store it but on the Jeep. However, I take the front panels off all the time. They are so easy, and especially nice when you have a roof rack and you don't feel like tilting it back etc.

I'm in MD - last year I put the hardtop on in early November. There are too many nice fall days (like this weekend) to miss out on - taking a nice drive out to see the leaves with the top off - it's worth waiting a little bit longer..

Put the doors on 2 week ago by order of the wife, who is cold all the time. The hard top went on last night while the rain started.it seams so small inside

It killed me but I just put the hartop back on today. It was actually an almost perfect (10 degrees warmer and it would have been perfect) day to ride with the top down. However, I don't get home until late during the weekl and my weekends usually fill up pretty quick and I was afraid of getting a few rainy weekends which may have ut me into November to swap tops and that may be iffy too.

I put my hard top on a couple of weeks ago, right after I finished painting the interior of it black and installing my Yakima racks. Its cooling off and raining enough that I probably would not have the top down anymore before winter.

As soon as I find a place to put my Eclipse till I get to work on it, I will be taking the hard top off for my sunrider.

I just run the hard top when I plan on clubbing especially in the "not so good" parts of town.
