Peace of mind, option availability, peace of mind, color, peace of mind.
Ordered Rubi (without understanding the true extent of the delay) and never really looked back. Rented an X last year and had way too much fun but spent a bunch of times in angles and scraping below and once almost hung up that the Rubi would probably avoided.
99% of the time the others would do us just fine but for those instances where we get ourselves a bit further in than we should have - the Rubi will get us out. The others might too but the peace of mind is worth it as I just don't have the time anymore to do all the modifications to get the same comfort level.
Just wish it was here!

No regrets here with our Sahara 4dr. It's got more wow factor than our 4dr Tahoe had so we're happy with it. It's been a great rig to take skiing, light trail cruising and hauling the children around town.

Not certain if some of us hopeful Rubi owners have the same feelings about the X or Sahara as some of the earlier posts here. I considered all and it came down to personal preferences. I wouldn't say anything against either of the others and infact am quite envious of the fact that you all have yours!

I heard that the dealership you ordered through might also have considerable weight in when you actually get it.
Thought by sticking with the 5-star in the area that would have helped but it seems that many of us are either going to be lucky in that ours will arrive late with fewer bugs / leaks - or we'll just find that others had the right contacts and we just waited...
