Why you should be careful removing old parts...
I was all stoked this morning to put on a Rock Krawler tie rod and remove the bent OEM job that is on there. Of course, the first step was to remove the old one, which takes a little tap hammer use. (or a puller, which I didn't have handy) Fortunately, I was careful when knocking the old one out with a hammer and left the nut on the top of the bolt. I got to the next step about putting the tie rod ends into the tie rod and found that one of the Moog ends was mis-marked and was left threaded instead of right. After calling all of the parts places in town, I won't be able to get one until next week and had to put my old tie rod back on.
Moral of the story... even when you don't think you will ever need it again, be careful when removing old parts becuase you never know when you may need a spare.
