I bought my 2 door because the 4 door sitting next to it was $10,000 more in price. I would have liked to have had a 4 door(just for more room) but I'm more than happy with my 2 door. I'm just going to get a cargo rack for the spare if I ever need to travel!

That would be an incredibly dumb move if they stopped selling the 2 dr

I will say that the 2 door is the normal jeep. But personally i love my 4 door. Yes it does suck how big you have to go to get belly clearance. But with that being said i can climb better then the 2 doors.

If the 2 door goes, I'll never buy a new Jeep. Hell, I'm probably just going to keep mine forever anyways...

Not everyone needs 4 doors. It would be sad to see the 2 door go. I think it's more fun to drive.

The JKU has outsold the JK 7 to 3 in recent years.

No need for 4 doors, if you do get a truck so you can trailer a 2 door... It don't make sense to stretch a 4 door either ill pass all day...

I'm married, two kids, and three dogs. By all accounts I should have bought a 4 door...but I didn't

the main thing with the 2 door is that by the time you rip out the rear bench for your gear, its a 2 seater

I drove a 4 door 10 times before I bought my 2 door because my wife wanted me to be more practical with two kids. I am a very unselfish person and would give up anything for my family but I decided I either wanted a 2 door or not buying a Jeep. There are some awesome 4 doors on this site but they are not for me. Since mine is a DD I didn't want bigger than 33's and I think a 4 dr needs 35's to even look normal.

The boom in sales for the 4 door is a blessing and a curse. It is the hip vehicle to buy right now like the 90's Explorer and Grand Cherokee, then the Tahoe now the 4 door JK. Those sales will shrink when the next big thing is introduced. There are many other vehicles that do the 4 door family travel vehicle better.

BTW - My 15 year old is driving my Jeep for the summer until her sister goes to college and gives up her car.
