I agree. I personally would rather buy a Jeep that hasn't been wheeled much just for the fact that you don't know how it has been wheeled and abused.....

Would you pay 19,000 for a jeep like this or pass?I intend to lift the jeep and put 35-37 under it.
I would not buy it for that price. If you go 37's you are probably going to replace a lot of the stock Rubi stuff anyway, eventually. If I was going to do that, I would buy a basic model, put pro-rocks or such under it.

Good luck
I have been looking for months and this is the best deal I have come across

I agree too. I wanted one that was a good deal when I was looking but it wasnt taken care of and I just didnt want that responsibility on my back. Take your time and you will find a better one. For that price I would just go buy a new sport and build it up better than a Rubi.

You went from 19k to 10k. I assume getting a bare bones new one is out of the question for you? You can finance 24k for 5 years at $435 per month and or even less if you wanted to go 72 months. Assuming you have good credit.

I agree, A new loaded Rubicon is $40-odd, there's never many for sale, and they hold their value well.

Only you can be the judge of it's condition - get underneath and look for abuse, if none, buy it and enjoy. best of luck

What I ment to say was can I build a sport with 37,re gear, drive train, front axle, lockers, and whatever else it will need for 10k on top of coast of basic jeep. New jeep 23,500 and used rubicon for 18-20 with less money to build?
