dang. now i feel like i got ripped off on my JKU Sahara! This is a better deal than I got for sure BUT I still love love love my JKU.........even if I got ripped off 
And personally, I'd have a trusted mechanic look at it. If it all check out, then I'd go for it. Regardless, though, you could run into issues with a new one just as you could with a used one.

Sorry if I missed it but where are you located? I did some searching and if the one you are looking at checks out mechanically I would get it. I could not find anything that was better for that price. Like others have said... try to get it for 18k and I think that would be a very good buy.... again, if it checks out ok.
