x prices?
I received 1% below invoice on my 2008 Rubicon unlimited through usaa membership, but the dealership did not ask for proof. so call dealerships up and ask if they will honor the usaa memership 1% below invoice pricing...call until you find one, then buy. Or become a member...family military experience required though....usaa.com ..... I don't know if the pricing matters where your located ...I'm in Phoenix, az. Good Luck!!
You payed $22,036, you are happy with the price, what does it matter what anyone else thinks? If you are happy, stop asking, someone will always tell you how much better they did, don't listen, they did not do better on your Jeep, and since you weren't trying to buy theirs it just doesn't matter.
And by the way, you did fine.

Ok guys, here is the difference. When most of us bought JKs, dealers did not want to give any discount due to JK being a high demand vehicle.
All of you, who bought JK after December, get better deals, since Chrysler sales are down, and they are willing to drop price, just to sell something.
So don't start that "You got screwed" talk, if you don't know.
I was fighting with dealer for 6 hours and only got $200 off MSRP. Why, because MSRP was 22900, and Invoice 22200. So they didn't want to drop anything.

Well,,
I went and test drove it,, its nice with all the extra bells and whistles that I didn't have before. It drove nice on the taller tires... will need to buy mud terrains,, back on subject,, I tried to haggle a little more and they said that was the invoice price for that as thats what they do on internet sales.. I say print me out the info and I'll think about it.. Then they tell me about the $750 wrangler loyalty rebate.. That brings it down to $21,850 plus tax and tags.. Thats $100 more than I paid for my almost bare bones 07 that got totaled.. So I put down money on it so they will hold it till I get my check cleared from the bank..
I did like driving with the hard top,, rather quiet..
Thanks,,
Steve

Ok,,
Did one of those free invoice check things online linked off the jk locator site.. with the rebate I'll be paying under the invoice,, but not by much.. but most dealers would not move off list even $1.00 so I'm still happy.. Just cant wait till I can get all the paperwork done at the CU and at my work to get this all in motion!

MSRP on my 08 Unlimited X was $24,600. The dealer had the price puffed to $28,200. Before i went shopping I discovered the dealer's web site had an "Internet price" of $23,500. I was smart enough to print a copy of the add and take it with me. They weren't happy but sold it to me for the internet price. I also got an APR of 5.24%
