Default X or Rubi

It is funny that even in the jeep community we have the them vs us thing going on. I drive an X. And I find it ammusing that some Rubi owners think that it is beneath them. I say When out on the trail and all things close to stock you better be Ironman Stewart to walk away fron my X.

I own a Rubi and have nothing but respect for the X models, I bought the Rubi simply because it is less mods I have to do in the future.

Default you are the right kind of jeep owner.

I am just bored and stirring up the pot alittle. If I had the cash I would have gone for the rubi as well.

Had I had an option for a Rubi on the lot, perhaps I would have gone that direction.

The real question, Why buy a Sahara?

so you don't have to worry about your fenders fading.

I bought the X vs the Rubicon solely on price. No way I could have gotten CFO approval for a Rubi!

Someday, once I wear out the X maybe I will be in a position to afford the upgrade.

Fading fenders.......

That's funny! At lunchtime today I went out to the convenience store to get a snack. I pull in to the parking lot and at the gas pump is a shiny Redrock X 2 door. The guy pumping gas looks at me as I'm driving past him not more than 5 feet away and I smile and wave and the little bastard snubbed me.
I guess my filthy dirty Rubicon was beneath him.

Personally I like them all, don't care if it's a Rubi or an X or a Sahara I wave at everybody!
