I just moved to Colorado last month so I was just reading about Black Bear Pass. Holy shit dude, I think I'm afraid to try it now. All the talk of it being "the most dangerous trail in CO" scared me off. Plus, judging by the pics and descriptions I've seen, I don't know if my Unlimited would make some of those corners.

Looks like a blast, but I just don't think I have the stones to try that one yet.

It does have a reputation, however seems like most who actually run say it's not too difficult, just not much margin for error in spots. Definitely on my to-do list. Many full-size rigs have run it, just needs some muilti-point turns on some of the switchbacks. Check out youtube for some vids.

Default Blackbear pass

We did this trail 2 weeks ago... ANyone who hasnt done it should.. Great scenery.. Not the hardest trail but narrow spots and big drop offs make it interesting... There are a few really nice rv parks in Ouray... Great vacation spot..
